Kelly came to Pilates after struggling with chronic pain for several years, and was amazed at how quickly she was able to recover from long-term injuries and move again pain-free. After completing mat and reformer training at Muse, she has been working to integrate Pilates with her work in trauma recovery using a variety of modalities, and is especially interested in how movement and building strength in the body can facilitate emotional release and resilience. Her work is grounded in research and guided by intuition. She is skilled in holding the delicate balance of knowing when to push through a challenge and when to find more grace and ease. Expect a grounding class with space to explore sensations in the body through rich visual imagery.
